Youth Exchange – Day 6

The final day of the youth exchange, 14 November, was all about reflecting, evaluating and planning ahead.

We started the day with the session about the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union, the funder of this project. We presented the objectives of the Youth part of the programme and the opportunities it provides.

We later moved on to find out more about the Youthpass certificate – the tool for reflecting on the learning process and recognising non-formal learning experience.

The second session of the morning was dedicated to planning the follow-up of the project – the national groups discussed the local actions which they will organise after the youth exchange. Each group had an interesting idea of an environmental workshop connected with art. We will publish the news from the local actions in this blog later.

After lunch the whole group evaluated the youth exchange and looked back at the week spent together.

Finally, we celebrated the successful youth exchange by having our own small exhibition. Each national group prepared something to show to others: there was a hanging tree installation, creative art objects showing various environmental facts, flash mob idea, theatrical improvisation and an infographic.

The youth exchange was great experience for all participants – we explored and enhanced our creativity and got new ideas and inspiration for future projects. We will use this online blog for exploring the topic of art for the environment even more, so stay tuned!
